Four people are facing charges after police say they left two children buckled into a car seat and baby swing for several days.
According to arrest documents, the children, aged two years and seven months, were found placed in a car seat and a baby swing at a home on Duckers Road in Frankfort on January 2.
Police say the children were found covered in urine and feces that appeared several days old.
The mother of the children, 21-year-old Megan Edgin, was arrested that night.
The children’s father, 23-year-old Christian Dunaway, was arrested on January 8, and grandparents, 51-year-old Doug Dunaway and 43-year-old Terri Dunaway, were arrested the next day.
All four are charged with first-degree criminal abuse of a child under 12 and were lodged in the Franklin County Detention Center.
