Trump Dispels ‘Bloodbath’ Myth While Mainstream Media Melts Down

3 min read

President Trump easily dispelled the so-called “bloodbath” myth that pervaded the mainstream media over the weekend when dishonest reporting fallaciously suggested that the 45th president was calling for a “bloodbath” in 2024 if he didn’t win the election.

On Truth Social, Trump wrote, “The Fake News Media, and their Democrat Partners in the destruction of our Nation, pretended to be shocked at my use of the word BLOODBATH, even though they fully understood that I was simply referring to imports allowed by Crooked Joe Biden, which are killing the automobile industry.”

The comment the media ran with was cut from remarks that the president delivered in Dayton, Ohio, over the weekend at a Buckeye Values PAC Rally.

Trump discussed the impact of Joe Biden’s failing economic policies on the faltering American auto industry and decried how Mexico has continually taken auto manufacturing business away from America over the past three decades.

“Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole [country] – that’s going to be the least of it,” Trump remarked, referring to the destruction of the auto industry if Biden were to continue outsourcing the auto industry to far-off nations like China or Mexico.

He warned that he would put a “100 percent tariff” on China’s imported cars as president again.

On Truth Social, Trump further swung back at the MSM. He posited, “The United Auto Workers, but not their leadership, fully understand what I mean.

With the Electric Car Mandate being pushed by Biden, there soon won’t be any cars made in the USA – UNLESS I’M ELECTED PRESIDENT, IN WHICH CASE AUTO MANUFACTURING WILL THRIVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!! MAGA2024”

The word “bloodbath” was woefully mischaracterized and taken out of context by media outlets, even prompting Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk to scorch headlines from major outlets, writing “Legacy media lies” on his platform.
