Owensboro Man Charged In Child Porn Case

There was a large police presence Thursday morning at a home in Owensboro.

Police say they served a search warrant in the 800 block of Dornell Street.

Officers say it was a result of an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force investigation that was reported by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding child sexual abuse material.

Police say the investigation led them to 33-year-old Brandon Lanham.

He’s charged with one count of Distribution of Matter Portraying Sex Performance by a Minor under 12 years of age, five counts of Distribution of Matter Portraying Sex Performance by a Minor over 12 years of age, one count of Possession of Matter Portraying Sex Performance by a Minor under 12 years of age, and three counts of Possession of Matter Portraying Sex Performance by Minor over 12 years of age.

Lanham was also charged with meth possession.

Police say the investigation may lead to more charges or more arrests.
